Aviation has fascinated me since I boarded the first aircraft at the age of 8. Ever since then my hobbies and
later my professional career have been in this field. Today I work in flight testing and flight simulation, which are the most exciting and interesting disciplines within aviation. With AEROSET we have created a very knowledgeable, experienced and focussed team we can rely on for flight test campaigns, subsequent data analysis and model development.

Cedric is an active professional test pilot and captain on various business jets, seaplanes and vintage aircraft, and
Senior Examiner for any license endorsement under EASA and FAA. He has been an aerobatic competition pilot and Director Flight Operations & Training for companies such as REGA, ExecuJet. Luxaviation, Jet Aviation and now AXIS Aviation. He is also president of the Swiss Independent Pilot Association, and founder and CEO of g-unlimited. His motto: Just do it and never give up.

Soma Varga
Project Leader Flight Test Campaign
As a kid I got hooked on aircraft, and this passion let me to become an aerospace engineer and private
pilot. AEROSET is the perfect combination of theoretical and practical experts. For me the most appealing part in the challenging field of flight test engineering is that there are no two similar days in the office, and by working as a team, at the end of the day we always get to experience the joy of flight. Again and again.
Simon Jauk
Lead Flight Model Engineer
There are so many different facets, fields and people in aviation that have fascinated me since childhood. This
was my motivation, after a detour in economics, to study aviation engineering at the FH Joanneum and so prepare for a career in aviation. During that time I also got my private pilot license to gain experience in the operational side of aviation. Now with AEROSET, I’m very proud to have a leading role in aerodynamic model development. My work includes participating in flight tests to collect the data from which we later derive the simulation models, which is probably one of the most exciting and challenging jobs. As the whole team is involved in the planning of the instrumentation and the manoeuvres, we can influence the quality of the data and models at a very early stage, enabling AEROSET to deliver the most advanced and comprehensive flight models to our customers.

Since my early years I’ve had my eyes turned skyward, dreaming that one day I could join the aviators in the sky. Today,
working with AEROSET as a Flight Data Analyst, I have the opportunity to combine my enthusiasm for technical challenges with my passion for flying. For me, every hour of flight provides additional inspiration for new ideas, to create solutions that will make tomorrow’s aviation safer and more efficient. Thinking back to my childhood days,
I think this would bring a smile to that kid’s face. And not many people can say that about their careers.
Tamás Rohács
Test Pilot all aircraft
At age 16 I started flying in gliders, and I fell in love with aviation for life. I flew airliners for 14 years, and now I captain
various business jets. I fly vintage aircraft, helicopters, autogyros, passenger and fighter jets. I’m interested in the engineering sciences as well, and I always wanted to be a test pilot. Working for Aeroset, in flight testing I can combine my engineering knowledge and high-level piloting skills, which I really enjoy. I’m a member of the Hungarian Aerobatic team, and I was involved in many flight testing projects in the last 20 years. I’m lucky because my work is my passion, so it’s never “just a job,” but something I look forward to every day.
