Fascinated by flight from an early age, I turned my curiosity about how things work into a path in aerospace engineering.

After completing my Master’s degree, I began my professional journey in aircraft design, testing, and certification, gaining valuable hands-on experience across the aviation industry. To deepen my practical understanding of aviation and fulfil a personal ambition, I also earned a Private Pilot License. Today, as Managing Director at AEROSET, I support and coordinate flight testing activities, combining technical precision, operational responsibility, and a lifelong passion for aviation.

Harald Schneider

Director Flight Test Programs & Flight Test Engineering

Aviation has fascinated me since I boarded the first aircraft at the age of 8. Ever since then my hobbies and later my professional career have been in this field.

Today I work in flight testing and flight simulation, which are the most exciting and interesting disciplines within aviation. With AEROSET we have created a very knowledgeable, experienced and focussed team we can rely on for flight test campaigns, subsequent data analysis and model development.

Cedric Gitchenko

Test Pilot

Cedric is an active professional test pilot and captain on various business jets, seaplanes and vintage aircraft, and Senior Examiner for any license endorsement under EASA and FAA.

He has been an aerobatic competition pilot and Director Flight Operations & Training for companies such as REGA, ExecuJet. Luxaviation, Jet Aviation and now AXIS Aviation. He is also president of the Swiss Independent Pilot Association, and founder and CEO of g-unlimited. His motto: Just do it and never give up.

Tamás Rohács

Test Pilot

At age 16 I started flying in gliders, and I fell in love with aviation for life. I flew airliners for 14 years, and now I captain various business jets.

I fly vintage aircraft, helicopters, autogyros, passenger and fighter jets. I’m interested in the engineering sciences as well, and I always wanted to be a test pilot. Working for Aeroset, in flight testing I can combine my engineering knowledge and high-level piloting skills, which I really enjoy. I’m a member of the Hungarian Aerobatic team, and I was involved in many flight testing projects in the last 20 years. I’m lucky because my work is my passion, so it’s never “just a job,” but something I look forward to every day.
